One and Two Day DAY TRIPS

Kansas City January 24 – 25 $218.00pp
New Dinner Theatre and Liberty Memorial Museum

Let’s escape the January blues by taking a short trip to KC for a few laughs at the New
Dinner Theatre, featuring Marla Gibbs from the TV show Jefferson’s, starring in
Boeing, Boeing. The Wall Street Journal calls this show “The funniest play to hit
Broadway” and we only have to drive to KC to enjoy.
Saturday, January 24th, Day 1: Break stop in Abilene at the Russell Stover’s
outlet before arriving in KC. We will go to the Liberty Memorial Museum,
America’s National World War 1 Museum. From the introductory film to the
battlefield crater this museum is a wonderful honor to those who served in
the world war in defense of our country. A must see! We will overnight at the
Quarterage Hotel which is located about 5 blocks from the Plaza. Dinner will
be on your own.
Sunday, January 25th, Day 2: Leisurely departure this morning before we go
to Union Station just to look around at the beautiful building. The building
is open but not much else will be happening on a Sunday morning. It will then
be time to head to the New Dinner Theatre in Overland Park for the
performance of Boeing, Boeing. Fasten your seatbelts as you prepare to enjoy
the comedy about a bachelor juggling a very precarious social calendar as he
is engaged simultaneously to 3 different stewardesses. Following the play we
will return to Yoder arriving at approximately 8:00pm.

Braum’s Dairy Farm, Tuttle 2 days $244.00pp
Wednesday, March 25, Day 1: Today we find ourselves headed south to
OKC. Stops will include the Oklahoma City National Memorial with an
included special surprise, and the Oklahoma City Art Museum which features
a wonderful Chihuly exhibit. We will also get to experience a behind the
scenes tour to learn about exhibit preparation, explore the collection vault
and take a ride in the massive freight elevator. Lunch included at museum.
Overnight in OKC area.
Thursday, March 26, Day 2: We head for Tuttle for our tour of the Braum’s Dairy
Farm processing plant. Our first stop will be at the visitor center for an excellent
film on the farm. We will then go to the plant to see how the yummy creations go
from milk to the products we all love. The farm covers 15 square miles and has
self-sufficient processing, water and waste treatment facilities. The milking of the
cows is continual, stopping only periodically to clean the barn and equipment.
The cows are brought to the barn in groups of 400 and they can milk 1,600 per
hour. Keep in mind that the public is not allowed in the barns. Following our tour,
and of course ice cream samples, we will depart Oklahoma and return to Yoder at
approximately 5:00pm.

return to Yoder will be early evening.

Topeka Treasures June 4th $86.00pp
We will start out at the Great Overland Station for a tour of this former Union

Combat Air Museum will be our next destination, the home of 32 aircraft
from WW1 to present day, along with other artifacts. It will then be time to
head towards Yoder but we will make a dinner stop so you can purchase dinner
