Flint Hills Ranch experience May 18 $74.00

Whether you were raised on a farm or not, today will be a day for everyone to
enjoy! We will head to the beautiful Flint Hills for a hands on tour of a local
cattle ranch specializing in the starting and grazing of calves on the lush Flint
Hill pastures. Our tour will include the history of the Flint Hills as the owner
meets us in Strong City and takes us into the hills. We will help sort the calves,
see the horses and dogs work the cattle and even do some branding of our
own! There will be plenty of time for questions and some original cowboy
poetry inspired by life on the ranch. What a unique experience!! We will then
head to Cottonwood Falls for an included lunch and to see the oldest working
courthouse in Kansas, built of native limestone in 1873. We will be back in
Yoder late afternoon.
