SHIPSHEWANA, IN

May 23 – 28, 2010 6 Days $693.00

The quiet streets of this Amish community come to life at one of the
nation’s largest outdoor flea markets. Over 900 vendors set up offering
everything imaginable! This is for all you bargain hunters!

Day 1: Today we travel through the Kansas City area and north to just
outside Des Moines, IA for our first night out.

Day 2: Enjoying the beautiful countryside of northern Illinois and Indiana
we will arrive in Shipshewana mid-afternoon. Tonight we will enjoy an
included dinner at a local Amish home where you can sit and visit with the
family and enjoy a wonderful Threshers Meal!

Day 3: Our hotel is across the street from the flea market so this morning you
can come and go as you please enjoying the market festivities. They offer a
little bit of everything. Following lunch on your own, a step on guide will
take us around the beautiful countryside stopping at several local places such
as the Quilt shop or noodle market and more as time permits. Along the way
we will enjoy the beautiful quilt gardens that will just be starting to bloom.

Day 4: Today holds an extra bonus to the flea market with the live auctions
in addition to the regular market. Again, you can come and go as you please.
Lunch will be on your own. This afternoon we will take some time to enjoy the
Menno Hof Amish Interpretive Center. The center interprets the rich history,
the family-oriented lifestyle, and deep faith of the Anabaptists. We will then
go to the Hudson Museum. What started with a single vehicle more than 25
years ago has turned into the world’s largest collection of Hudson automobiles
and trucks.

Day 5:This morning we will say goodbye to Shipshewana and head towards
home stopping at the Amana Colonies. We will enjoy an included dinner and
see the show at either The Old Creamery Theatre or the Iowa Theatre Artists
Co. As of this printing, schedules were not set for 2010. Our overnight will
be in the Amana Colonies.

Day 6: Today we make our way home back to Yoder with all of our new
treasures and the appreciation of this wonderful community.
