KSDS, Marcon Pie Factory, Herrs Memory Lane & Dairy Farm

This would be a great tour to invite your grandchildren to spend the day
with you!

The Kansas Specialty Dog Service (KSDS) is an organization committed to
the placement of assistance dogs. It is amazing to watch the handler/dog
demonstration and see the activities that the dogs can perform. We will also
get to visit the dog kennel and learn how they go from puppy to placement.
We will enjoy an included lunch at KSDS along with pie for dessert from the
Marcon Pie Factory. We will tour Marcon and see where over 700 pies are
made daily by hand! We will also visit Herrs Memory Lane which is dedicated
to the preservation and heritage of vintage cars, trucks and tractors. Over 100
vehicles and items are on display in this 40 plus years of collecting. As we head
south of Washington we will stop at Ohlde Dairy to get a close up view of
their dairy process and taste some of the wonderful cheese that is made from
the milk.
