We planned this tour so you can bring along your grandchild or grandchildren, neighbor kid, Sunday School child, or just yourself and join us for a fun time! The recommended minimum age is 7 years old. All meals are included on this tour.

Day 1: Today we make our way north to Lincoln, NE. This afternoon we find ourselves at Morrill Hall, located on the campus of the University of Nebraska. We participate in a hands-on, guided experience led by one of the Educators. After our experience, you can explore this interactive museum filled with unique exhibits centered on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). You can wander, explore, discover, imagine, and create in a seriously fun environment. This evening, we play among 20 life-sized dinosaurs at Prehistoric Putt. The obstacles include an 11-foot-tall loop, zip line, a slide that finishes into a ball pit, pinball, ball maze race, warped wall, batting cage, foosball, ski-ball, and finishes with the largest and most fun 18th hole yet! We stay in Lincoln for our next two nights. (L, D)

Day 2: This morning our adventure takes us to Fremont where we ride an airboat on the Platte River. The Platte River is one of the nation’s most beautiful air-boating rivers. This afternoon we visit the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Experience a behind the scenes look at areas such as the animal care center, animal feedings, or perhaps visit animals that have not yet been released into the zoo population. After dinner, we return to the hotel where you can relax or swim at the hotel’s pool. (B, L, D)

Day 3: This morning we visit the Kansas Specialty Dog Service in Washington, KS for a tour. We see the puppies at the kennel waiting to be trained as well as a trained dog in action with its handler. KSDS dogs assist people with physical disabilities, become guide dogs, and facility dogs in the fields of education, counseling, and retirement agencies. After lunch, we board the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad. We ride eastbound for a 10½ mile round trip through the Smoky Hill River Valley. Then it’s time to start making our way back to Yoder filled with fun memories. (B, L)
