National Quartet Convention, Pigeon Forge TN

Day 1: The anticipation for great gospel music can be felt as we board our motorcoach for our tour to Pigeon Forge. Enjoy getting acquainted with your fellow travelers today as we head east across Kansas, Missouri, and into Illinois. Our first night is in Mt Vernon IL.
Day 2: This morning, we continue making our way to Pigeon Forge crossing some beautiful terrain in Kentucky and Tennessee. After checking into our hotel, The Inn at Christmas Place, we are off to the Convention Center for an evening of entertainment! You are free to get up, move about and enjoy all the exhibits in the exhibit hall. Our seats are reserved, so you can come and go as you please. (B)
Day 3: This morning we head into the most visited National Park, Smoky Mountain National Park. A local guide joins us as we learn about the mountains the Cherokee call "Land of the Blue Smoke." Our first stop is at the Sugarland Visitor Center then up to “The Gap,” hearing stories along the way. We have some free time to explore the quaint town of Gatlinburg before lunch. Then it’s back to the hotel for a brief rest before tonight’s concert. Tonight, enjoy another evening of quartet favorites. (B, L)
Day 4: Our first adventure this morning takes us to the Titanic Museum, a gateway to 1912 where a variety of officers and crew members bring the stories to life. This afternoon brings us to the final program of the National Quartet Convention. Enjoy another evening of spirit-filled Southern Gospel Music. (B, L)
Day 5: This morning we say good-bye to Pigeon Forge and make our way back to the St. Louis area for our last night. Again, we travel through the beautiful Cumberland Plateau area of Tennessee and the rolling hills of Kentucky. This area is gorgeous to see any time of year but especially in the fall. We will make a brief stop to view the wall murals in Paducah. (B)
Day 6: Traveling home today gives you a chance to share some of the musical memories that were made on this trip. Hopefully, this tour puts music in your step and a song in your heart. (B)
