Day 1: We leave Kansas and Missouri behind as we anticipate our tour to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum! By evening we are east of St. Louis for our first night’s stay.

Day 2: This afternoon we tour the world-renowned Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchhill Downs. The museum has interactive exhibits where you learn about the history of the great race! We also take a guided, historic walking tour of the Churchill Downs Racetrack, stable exhibits, and grandstand. Our hotel is in the Covington KY area for the next 2 nights. (B, L)

Day 3: We begin our day at the Creation Museum. This state-of-the-art museum allows you to venture through biblical history, stunning exhibits, botanical gardens, and much more! The planetarium film on “Created Cosmos” is included as well as lunch. To cap off the day, we cruise the Ohio River on a BB Riverboat Dinner Cruise. Take in the skyline, watch the river go by, listen to the soft sound of the DJ, and enjoy a fantastic dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Today is the day reserved for the incredible Ark Encounter! Prepare to be blown away as you explore this full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to biblical dimensions. It is an architectural wonder containing 3 decks of world-class exhibits. You can also visit the Ararat Ridge Zoo and see exotic animals from around the world. Lunch is included at the Ark Encounter. Tonight we relax at our hotel in Georgetown, KY. (B, L)

Day 5: This morning we visit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm. The farm provides a dignified retirement to Thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end. You can meet many of the horses and hear their stories. After an included lunch at the famous Claudia Sanders, we start our trek home. Overnight in the St. Louis area. (B, L)

Day 6: Today we return to Yoder, reminiscing about our wonderful trip to the Bluegrass State. (B)
