Day 1: This morning sit back and relax as we make our way through Western Kansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Albuquerque is home for the night.

Day 2: This morning we depart Albuquerque and make our way to Sedona, known as the jewel of the desert and considered as one of the most beautiful places in America. This afternoon we stop at Oak Creek Canyon overlook for photos of the red rocks and surroundings of the Canyon. Then we drive the breathtaking scenic Oak Creek Canyon that descends 2000 feet to the valley floor. After checking into our hotel we have dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 3: This morning we board a trolley for a great introduction to the beauty, culture, and sights of this breathtaking and magical town. We head out to the surrounding desert to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross and enjoy panoramic views of the Sedona red rock formations including Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral rock. This afternoon we visit Slide Rock State Park for a guided tour. This evening enjoy dinner in Sedona where you can browse authentic Indian arts and crafts stores along with unique boutiques and galleries. (B)

Day 4: A step on guide will join us for a day of adventure and history in the Verde Valley around Sedona. Montezuma Castle is a prehistoric cliff dwelling and our first stop of the day. Montezuma Castle, which is dedicated to preserving Native American culture, is nestled into a towering limestone cliff. Next, we visit a local vineyard for lunch and tour. On to the story of copper at the Arizona Copper Art Museum, where we learn how copper was fashioned into artwork. (B, L)

Day 5: Leaving Sedona we venture back to Albuquerque. Stroll the Plaza of Old Town and shop in the stores and galleries for unique gifts. Or simply relax on the patios or walk the winding brick paths of this special old town square. (B)

Day 6: With memories of the red rocks today we venture to familiar settings of the Kansas plains. (B)
