We fly to the Islands while the cold winds are still blowing in Kansas. Sunshine, warm temperatures, white sandy beaches, and all the romance of the Islands are waiting to greet us. Enjoy the view, breeze, and smell from your oceanview rooms on Maui.

Day 1: This morning we board our flight to Hawaii. The island of Oahu is called the Gathering Place. Arriving in Honolulu, we receive the traditional lei greeting welcoming us to the Islands. Our motorcoach takes us into the heart of Waikiki for our three-night stay. This evening we will enjoy dinner with the group. (D)

Day 2: Rise and shine, it’s Hawaiian time! This morning, we visit Pearl Harbor. We will tour the USS Arizona (lottery requested), USS Missouri as well as the Bowfin Sub where we learn one of the world's most valuable history lessons: how men and women gave their lives on December 7, 1941, “The Day of Infamy.” Today’s experience makes us more grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. Next, it is on to a sightseeing tour of Honolulu. This narrated tour of the city winds its way through The National Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) and includes a picture stop at Queen Iolani Palace. Upon returning to the hotel, the evening is free to enjoy the Waikiki area. (B)

Day 3: This morning takes us on an Island Tour of Oahu. This breathtakingly beautiful, 120-mile trip around the island visits Hawaii’s most famous landmarks; Diamond Head, Halona Blowhole, Pali Lookout, and the big wave beaches of the North Shore. The next stop is the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here you will travel through time as you experience thousands of years’ worth of culture from six different Polynesian island nations, each with its own flavor and appeal. Enjoy the afternoon Canoe Pageant and other village presentations. Tonight, step into a world of vibrant culture, breathtaking performances, and unforgettable flavors at the PCC Luau—Oʻahu’s most authentic island celebration. (B, D)

Day 4: We depart Honolulu Airport for our short, early morning flight to the Big Island of Hawaii. Later we witness some of the Big Island’s most impressive and diverse natural wonders; from volcanoes to tropical forests to the world-famous black sand beaches. Volcanoes National Park is another highlight where we learn about Hawaii’s active volcanoes and see their features throughout the park. We also hear about the island’s seven ecological zones, its plant and animal communities, and a bit about how the area perpetuates native Hawaiian culture. Whether we are gazing at a lava tube, steam bluff, or waterfall, our guide provides fascinating insights into the island’s rich geology, history, and culture. After a full day of touring, we check into our hotel for two nights. (L)

Day 5: We begin our day with a visit to the Kona Coffee Company, where we see the process of coffee production from seed to cup, including samples! Next, we visit Pu`uhonua O Hōnaunau. Imagine you had just broken the sacred laws, the Kapu, and the only punishment was death. Your only chance of survival is to elude your pursuers and reach the Puʻuhonua, a place of refuge. The Puʻuhonua protected the Kapu breaker, defeated warriors and civilians, during the time of battle. No physical harm could come to those who reached the boundaries of the Puʻuhonua. You get an in-depth look at the place of refuge and enjoy walking the grounds of this National Historic Park. (B, L)

Day 6: We depart the Big Island this morning for our short flight to Maui. Discover the Wonders Beneath the Waves at Maui Ocean Center. Step into a world where the ocean comes alive! Nestled in the heart of Maui, the Maui Ocean Center is more than an aquarium—it's a gateway to Hawai‘i’s vibrant marine life and rich cultural heritage. Our hotel tonight is on the famous Kaanapali Beach with ocean-view rooms. Tonight, enjoy a True Luau Experience. Situated next to the award-winning Ka‘anapali Beach, the Maui Nui Lū‘au shares the music, dance, and history of the islands at the foot of the famous cliff diving point, Black Rock. (B, D)

Day 7: Today it’s on to Haleakala which means "house of the sun" in Hawaiian. Towering over the island of Maui, Haleakala Crater is a force of nature in every sense. This dormant volcano is the stage for a breathtaking range of landscapes and skyscapes. After lunch, we will experience a working pineapple farm. Learn about the growing cycle and cultivation techniques of Maui Gold Pineapple. It’s truly a fun and delicious tour! Tonight, see one of the ocean’s most majestic creatures up close as we take a Whale-watching excursion. Throughout the tour, we learn about the whales’ annual migration from Alaska to Maui, their lives, and their ecosystems. (B, L)

Day 8: Since we have been in Hawaii for a few days, here’s your opportunity to Hang Loose- Hawaiian Style. Maybe take the day to relax and lie on the beach, or maybe select optional activities like a Heavenly Hana Tour, a Catamaran snorkel cruise, or other options that are available for purchase. (B)

Day 9: This morning is your chance to sleep in, relax, lie on the beach, or shop for any last-minute gifts. After a late hotel checkout, discover and celebrate Maui's agricultural bounty at the Maui Tropical Plantation! Tour, shop, explore, and dine! Smell the flowers, see the fresh fruit, hear the stories, and ask questions! Indulge your senses on a one-of-a-kind journey through Maui’s lush cacao farms and award-winning chocolate factories. From farm to bar, they’ll guide us through the chocolate process, complete with a Maui chocolate tasting in their custom hale. This evening we make our way to the airport for our overnight return flight to the mainland. (B, L)

Day 10: Upon arrival at the airport, our motorcoach will be waiting to transfer us back to Yoder.
